group work.  were still taking about how much of a jerk lincoln was to the south. no really seemed to like him then. like no one. its funny how history can make into a hero, he may have won a war, but he was a jerk. i dont think i would like him if i met him in person. i can never understand what he says anyway.

its been an itheresting week, monday was pretty average, we did group work with packets, learningabout what comes after the civil war, and i hadnt really known that incoln screwed the south over so bad. tuesday we has a sub, and consiquently, we got little done, we wrote those letters to lincoln from the point of view of a southerner. today we did more packet stuff. i dont like packet stuff.

well, its mcas week and we havent seen much of you, but when we have its mainly just been about the project. i love not doing anything :)

test tomorrow. i feel like your going to grade the essay really harshly sence we can use the documents. oh well, better study. i think im taking the gettsburg quiz retake tomorrow morning. also, i'm using all your powerpints to study, but in the future can you please save them as .ppt not .pptx? pptx is the new format used in 2007 or newer and i cant open them in office 2003, and had to convert them with much dificulty. ppt works with all powerpoints. if it takes too much time dont bother but it would be nice because those downloadable powerpoints are proving to be a valuable study tool

well i studied for that gettysgurn adress thing, and i thought i knoew it. i totally blanked on the quiz. i dont even want to talk about it. uuhgghhg

so i have to momorize the gettiesburg adress. i dont really mind. memorization isnt too hard.i hope we get to watch more of that movie :)

today we watched an excert from the "Gettysburg" movie, which i thought was a fun treat for the class, and i really enjoyed the film. i also think that it helped me understand the event (although i know it was dramatized a bit) as aposed to taking notes and looking at maps.
